After writing up my NOTHS wedding press day post I’ve been hopping over to the site to browse their wedding supplies most days since! If you’re willing to put the time in you can find a lot of beautiful, unusual and fun gifts from their indie sellers. As I keep spotting so many nice things, I thought it made sense to put together my top 12 favourite gifts to give to your bridesmaids. I’m sure your best friends and family have been working hard to support you and help out with wedding prep, so it’s time to put together a few gifts to say thank you – which is very traditional but also lovely none the less!
I like the idea of purchasing around 5-10 smaller gifts and popping them in a goodie bag, but one slightly bigger more expensive gift is always special too, the choice is up to you. I’ve collected together a good selection of thank you presents with different price points, so I hope you’re able to find something that suits your taste and budget perfectly. Have fun shopping!
Set Of Three Grace Crystal And Pearl Hairpins
Give each of your bridesmaids a special decorative hair pin to wear on the big day – and I’m sure with hair accessories this beautiful, they will treasure them forever. It would be even more special if you popped the pins in their hair rather than the hairdresser doing it. I really like the idea of all the ‘maids having one small thing that connects them all together and these pretty pins would be perfect for that. These are also much more contemporary than any other hair decor items I’ve seen recently, and also much easier to wear for sure.
£45 for three.
The Motown Lyric Biscuit Gift Box
The perfect present to help break the nerves and have a sing song! Everyone loves Motown, right? The pink marbled icing is bang on trend and just the right amount of girly. These biscuits are also just the thing for a mid morning nibble while you are all getting ready! Just the right amount of sugar to get you all down the aisle!
£25 for a box.
This is such a special gift. I saw these at the NOTHS Christmas in July press day and fell in love with them. Each modern locket contains little birthstones that sparkle when the necklace moves, they can also be customised with a name and date – perfect for weddings! I love this modern version of locket design but if this necklace is too large for your taste you could opt for more delicate earrings or bracelet instead.
£59 per locket.
Prosecco Truffles
I had to get prosecco in their somewhere! These luxe looking chocolate truffles would be the perfect thing to snack on with your ‘maids the night before the wedding. Get in your PJs, pop open a bottle, grab a wedding related romantic comedy and tuck in. What could be better than that? My choice would be “Bridesmaids”! … It has me lolling all night long!
£11.25 per box.
I thought this cute palm print notebook would be a great way for your maid of honour or bridesmaid to make any important wedding notes. They would also come in very handy if your girls are giving speeches or readings too. This personalised book is available in four designs so you can find one to match each leading lady in your life.
£16 per notebook.
Gin And Tonic Lip Balm
The perfect gift for your friends to pop in their handbags. I love the cute floral design plus the scent of a gin and tonic has to be one of the best in the world! There are six cocktail inspired flavours available in case you’re more of an espresso martini or cosmo kinda girl. These would also make perfect inexpensive hen party gifts.
£6.50 each.
Roll On Infused Oils
If you feel like your bridesmaids might be in need of some aromatherapy try these natural roll-on oils. These roll-ons don’t just smell amazing, but they nourish dry skin, help balance your mood and can even be applied to split-ends overnight. The roll-ons come in a collection of scents, some to invigorate, some to relax and some to boost your mood (just the thing for the post wedding blues).
£14 for a trio.
Set Of Ten Edible Flower Lollipop Favours
Possibly the prettiest lollipops you’ll ever eat. These sweet treats feature British grown edible flowers and all natural flavourings, so not only are they handmade here in the UK but they’re also guaranteed to put a smile on your bridesmaid’s faces. Pop these lollies in their goodie bags or tie them onto the stems of their champagne flutes for a sweet surprise. I also can’t help thinking they are totally instagrammable – I think they would be great for morning-of selfies! They’re just too cute!
£25 for a set of ten.
These are so fun! Think about where you could place these, if you’re giving out goodie bags to your bridesmaids you could tie the tails onto the handles, or maybe their bed posts or even their chairs at the wedding breakfast. My friend went to a wedding recently where each bridesmaid held one as they walked down the aisle and it was super fun – the adults loved it as much as all the kids did!
£15.95 for a pack of 14.
Personalised Bridesmaid Bag
If you’re buying a few gifts for your maids you may need to purchase some pretty bags to pop all the gifts into. This tote is extremely classy and one that each bridesmaid could use over and over again. The perfect overnight bag. Again, you could give these out before the hen party if you’re travelling.
£30 each.
Personalised Monogram Hand Mirror
Probably the prettiest pocket mirror I’ve ever seen, plus everyone loves a monogram personalisation! Choose between silver or rose gold and your ‘maids can easily touch up their makeup (or yours) during the wedding. If your friends are makeup fans you could also buy them a set of new rose gold brushes too.
£26 each.
These PJs are adorable. Maybe not the thing if you’re a swanky silk camisole kinda gal but if you want to be comfortable and have your excitement reflected on your pjs then this is the pair for you and your ‘maids. Don a pair of fluffy socks and get cosy while you do your make-up for your big moment. I’m clearly no longer a bride but might buy these anyway! Love them!
£40 per set.
When you’re putting together your gifts take time wrapping them up and present them beautifully, it will make all the difference. Pinterest is full of gift wrapping ideas but some pretty paper and ribbon will go a long way. If you would like to purchase a collection of gifts take a look at tote bags and pretty paper gift bags to house everything. If you have some spare flowers from your florist you could decorate the gifts or goodie bag with a few blooms for extra pretty points.
Happy gifting!
