Looking for a slightly different crafty bridal shower or hen party idea? That may also come in useful for your wedding?? Christabel’s Pimp My Pineapple workshop via Not On The High Street could be just the right amount of fun!
I was lucky enough to get a press invite to one of her wonderful classes, but with a busy schedule during wedding season, I sent one of my brides instead….
Having pimped your own glass of prosecco on arrival, you will get the chance to create ‘a dazzlingly flamboyant pineapple centrepiece’ or ornamental focal point, which will last for five weeks.
Super fun as well as super on trend, pimp your own pineapple with jewels, flowers, glitter, pearls, feathers, pom poms – you name it! The pimp your pineapple girls have loads of fun decor bits and bobs on offer that are switched up regularly.
The end product? A beautiful table centrepiece or super fun prop for any party, shower, or do. A great event to do with a group of friends and perfect if you’re planning a tropical themed wedding!
This could also be something fun you do with just a couple of your ‘maids as a crafty night out, then you could use your pineapples for the actual shower or hen party decor, rather than your wedding – if a tropical theme doesn’t suit your wedding style. As pineapples are said to be a symbol of hospitality and fertility, they couldn’t be more perfect for wedding celebrations!
Each guest receives three glasses of pimped up prosecco, Propercorn popcorn to snack on, and one pineapple complete with lots of pimping decorations. Private parties can also be organised… which means you could have your wedding decor sorted in no time! Ten friends = ten wedding table centrepieces! Perfect!
