Modern English Rose Styled Shoot

On this dull and bleak Tuesday, I wanted to share the pretty images from the ‘Modern English Rose’ styled shoot I was part of last September… That I never quite got around to sharing at the time!

This is a styled shoot I had the pleasure of working on as the planner and stylist. I was recruited by Victoria Murray Photography to help her pull together her ideas for the shoot, and style the day as it unfolded. Victoria had a very clear image of how she wanted the shoot to look and handpicked all the suppliers, and already had her eye on the dresses and accessories by the time I was enlisted.

I worked with a host of wonderful suppliers at the gorgeous Gaynes Park to encapsulate the theme of a ‘Modern English Rose Bride‘, and to our delight the photos were picked up by Bridal Editor!

Our brief was as follows:

Name: Modern English Rose Bride
Colours: Whites, pinks, peaches, accents of red and green and a hint of gold
Props: Ring boxes, lanterns, rose petals, candles, glass bottle vases, poetry, one place setting, bone china.
Mood: Romantic, whimsical and quintessentially English. Opulent and luxurious touches combining modern and traditional elements.
