Belle & Bunty are certainly making their mark on the bridal fashion industry offering bespoke, made to order gowns in a variety of sheer, sequined and laced fabrics. And great news if you’re vegan, as most of their creations (which are all made right here in the UK), are available in stunning vegan fabrics!
Inspired by country glamour and the Tennessee music scene, their new collection named ‘Islands in the Stream’, is the hot-off-the-press 2019 designs by female duo Belle & Bunty. This collection is absolutely to die for, and pays tribute to country-inspired love songs that empower the independent woman. We absolutely love the country girl element to this shoot – if a gal can pull off a pair of suede cowgirl ankle kicking boots on her wedding day, then why not!
Belle & Bunty nail the epitome of romance and femininity with this latest collection – the designers have created sheer, dreamy dresses with plunging low-slung backs, dainty floral lace detailing, and simple but perfectly fitting slip dresses that encapsulate the female figure perfectly.
Exudes Confidence, Strength and Downright Sass

“We wanted the style of the shoot to look and feel like the model meant business. We feel this is particularly important in the current climate and would give our collection a ballsy point of difference. Bridal seems to be littered with imagery of whimsey and fragility but this season, we want our message to mirror that of our brides: strong, fun and natural.
Our aim was to set the glitz of the new collection against the beautiful rustic countryside with tumbling fields, horses, stables and ominous skies as a back drop. The Belle & Bunty bride takes her party with her where ever she may roam, exuding confidence, strength and downright sass with her wedding dress.”
Highlights from the collection include the Evelyn Dress (below), created with shimmering sequins over a double layered satin under dress. The signature godets in a sheer tulle make this a dreamy and luminous piece.
The Cassidy Dress (below) epitomises femininity with its soft capped sleeves and delicate flower field lace, complete with a warm cream satin mid layer that glimmers through the ivory filigree lace.
While the sequin Bonnie top and skirt combo (below), which can be worn separately too, is one of my fav looks… We are SO in love with this collection here at Devine Bride ❤️
Untameable Independent Spirits
“The brides that we make dresses for have one thing in common for their wedding: this is a celebration. With the 2019 collection we really wanted to put the focus on the spirit of independence and confidence of the bride, combined with the magic and sparkle of the celebration itself.
The cowgirls that are at one with nature with an untameable spirit are our muses. If these boots are made for walking, then these dresses are made for dancing!”

“Our collection is Manufactured solely in the UK using skilled British tailors and seamstresses to create our dresses. Our workshops and boutique are located in London so we keep our foot print as low as possible and we buy all our fabrics from UK suppliers. Our dresses are Made to Order therefore we hold no stock- we only make dresses when there are orders – this keeps our wastage low and our fabric consumption economical. We use only pure silk for our dresses. We use pure silk linings too which make sure you feel as cool as you look.”
From its demure necklines and delicate details to its plunging seductive backs, this collection is effortlessly chic and seriously sophisticated.
