Yurt Wedding Garden Party with Eucalyptus and a Ceilidh

A boho summer party in the couple’s back garden, featuring an outdoor dancefloor and a ceilidh, in South London. It was the most wonderful yurt wedding with eucalyptus styling.

Lauren + Jack were married at Ripley Arts Centre in Bromley and then had a garden party at their home in Beckenham. It was super chilled, relaxed, and a bit boho – just like the couple, and just like the couple wanted!

The bride was a dab hand with all of the creative aspects of the day, which included doing all the reception flowers herself at home, and even making the cake! (From scratch, herself! I was amazed!) And the groom sorted all the electronics, the dancefloor, the lighting, and the outdoor bunting. The couple wanted to ensure their guests felt as comfortable as possible, and they certainly did… Lauren even made a little children’s den corner at the back of the garden which kept them busy for hours!

The wedding breakfast was a relaxed buffet where tables were called up one by one, and dessert was a yummy ice cream cart and then wedding cake. The couple supplied the drinks up until the wedding breakfast was finished, then we switched over to a cash bar for the evening. There was an awesome outdoor dancefloor where a ceilidh band led the start of the evening and then a Spotify disco played until the small hours.

It was the most wonderful summer garden party, on one of the hottest days of the year, in the comfort of the couples own back garden – it was one of those weddings I’d have loved to have gone to as a guest 😍 A brilliant boho yurt wedding with eucalyptus, and lots of it!

Devine Bride assisted with some of the final set up the day before, fashioning a eucalyptus arch and laying the eucalyptus table runners and setting the tables, and then team Devine Bride was there on the day managing all the suppliers, guests and helping to host the day.

She helped us set up the day and even made a beautiful eucalyptus arch for our yurt entrance the day before. On the day, everything was handled perfectly by Laura – we can’t believe how wonderful Laura and her assistant were on the day. The whole event ran so smoothly, we were left to enjoy our wedding – our families as well, who weren’t having to organise and manage behind-the-scenes. Laura also gave us some brilliant tips and ideas. I’d recommend her entirely for any event!”
