Black Friday shopping special! Black Friday is one of the most exciting shopping periods of the year, especially if you are a budding bride or groom in search of a bargain! The deals can start any time the week of Black Friday, and continue right across the weekend until Cyber Monday, but Black Friday itself this year is Friday 23rd November – tomorrow! The shopping period has come from Thanksgiving in the US (Black Friday is always the day after Thanksgiving), where shops offer discounts and deals for ‘the holidays’ – much like Boxing Day is a traditional sale shopping day here in the UK. This shopping period has taken over the UK in recent years though too, and is now one of the biggest shopping events worldwide as retailers try to cash in where they can… so it’s a great opportunity to get some deals for your wedding, or even just for Christmas!
