It’s Valentine’s week, and whilst there are other ways to show your loved one you care, little gifts here and there always help! If you’re running low on ideas, we have some last minute valentine gift inspiration to help you along. Whether it’s something small, something stylish or something sentimental, we have a couple of suggestions that will make him or her swoon with gratitude on the most love-filled day of the year…
The Shirt
Shirts are a great gift. Whether you go down the city office route or opt for more of a laid back style, your man will be grateful for a stylish new wardrobe garment. And he will think of you every time he wears it!
We love this charcoal grey polka dot piece by All Saints. (£88)

The Tie
Why not go for a classic Valentine’s gift, and give a good quality tie! This fine silk leopard print tie from Oliver Brown is colourful and a little different. Anything featuring animals or animal print is super trendy right now, too. (£59)

The Photo Frame
Sentimental and a bit soppy… But also the perfect way to showcase a beautiful moment between you and your partner. This etched copper frame from Not On The High Street will make an awesome present and won’t break the bank at £24.

The ‘Man Bag’
Osprey are well-known for making stylish bags and purses, and this brown Clayton leather satchel is no exception. Even if your chap has resisted getting a bag for years, this one might just win him over. I mean, how do they survive without a handbag anyway?! This one is currently in the sale for £95 too (reduced from £245!) – Osprey London.

The Watch
Rue Du Rhone make stunning time pieces, and we love the fact that the watches are super stylish with an offering of collections for both men and women. We really REALLY like this unisex gold and stainless steel watch… whether it’s for him or her, it will add a chic touch to their wrist! Prices start at around £300, but the one pictured is £381 (converted from Swiss Francs).

The Artwork
How cool is this? Your partner is sure to love the thought and quirkiness of this present from Not On The High Street. The design is a pattern of sound waves from your favourite song – so you can pick a tune that holds meaning for the pair of you, and hang it on your wall. Perhaps your first date song? Or first dance song? Another fairly budget (but brilliant) gift idea! (£25)

The Mug!
This ‘Be Yourself I Like You Like That’ mug is cute but to the point! And it’s something useful! -I love a good mug! We drink lots of hot drinks in our house…! Gemma Wightman Ceramics makes this pretty porcelain mug from Not On The High Street (£20) – yep, this is the gift website that just keeps on giving. It’s my go-to.

The City Break
Who doesn’t need (and love) a city break?! We all need a little weekend away in the diary to look forward to, and what a lovely gift! This deal from Virgin Experiences is £449 for a 2-night stay at London’s swanky Ambassador Hotel with a couple of classic city experiences thrown in. Go on, treat your loved one… and yourself! (I’d love to do this, and I actually live in London!)

The Gin
If in doubt, gin will sort it out! Gin has made one of the biggest comebacks EVER and is bang on trend as a tipple of choice. This Scottish Bramble Boe Gin Liqueur is a great pressie for… anyone! There are many other gins in the Boe range. Try out the Violet one too… it’s my fav, and has become a cult classic where I’m from in Scotland! Far too delicious for a single. Doubles all the way.

It’s not too late to show a little love to your partner on Valentine’s Day… it’s a good excuse to treat them if nothing else! But it’s the thought that counts of course!
