Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes on a styled shoot for a wedding? Last week I brought you the outcome of the shoot, so this week I thought I’d bring you behind the scenes! Well I’ve got all the pics from this untraditional shoot, featuring a llama piñata, gorgeous eucalyptus tables, cacti centrepieces, and a violet wedding dress…!

As this was part of a wedding suppliers business retreat, the experiment was not just the shoot itself but also learning to work fluidly with such a variety of suppliers… all with slightly different ideas and visions, including 12 photographers! (But that also meant we got lots of great behind the scenes shots too!)
As the two planners at the retreat, myself and Cherelle from Perfectly Planned 4 You took the lead with Lex from Fleming Photo, who hosted it as part of the London Wedding Breakfast Club. Then collectively as 25 very different wedding suppliers, we set up this mock wedding in one day and tried to combine elements and ideas from everyone. The combination definitely made the shoot quite different to anything any of us had ever done before!
