With the current lockdown, virtual planning taking place, wedding suppliers pivoting their businesses, and the need to support small businesses in our local and national economy more than ever, as a London wedding planner I’ve summarised what some of my fav suppliers (and best pals in the industry), have to offer at the moment. Including some amazing deals and discounts for your wedding, in the hope that it might help you continue to plan your wedding, or at least enjoy lockdown a bit more!
It is no surprise that most businesses have suffered massive losses due to the current economic climate, and the wedding industry is no different. However, we set ourselves apart from most industries by the personal relationship we have with our clients. It is such a special time and such a fun, emotional, and high energy day, that we focus much more on the client journey and how we can help and be a part of your day to support you as a partner, rather than just another supplier. Thus, with weddings now pretty much off the cards for rest of 2020, or at least the foreseeable future, we’ve had to adapt and pivot our businesses somewhat, to use our skills to provide additional, extra, different, online, or virtual services.

Planning
I still offer, and continue to provide, my planning services throughout. Although obviously there are some venue specific planning aspects that have had to be put on hold. And to be honest I’m finding my clients are needing me more than ever to help navigate this awful situation while planning or postponing their wedding.
I offer Planning Power Hours for £120, and it’s actually two hours’ worth for that money. The name is because it is usually around one hour of us on a video call together, and then one hour of me going away and doing planning work for you – and can include anything from budget estimates, to venue recommendations, venue specific advice, sample supplier quotes, décor sourcing, and décor and DIY how to’s. Thereafter, my planning time is charged at £95 per hour, and can be taken ad hoc or in blocks. My whole mission is that wedding planning should be bespoke, fun, and flexible.
I’m a London wedding planner based in Walthamstow, and love helping fun couples bring their ideas and party together. I specialise in difficult dry hire weddings and I’m an On The Day Coordination pro.
