Just a short blog to share today, with a few select gorgeously colourful pics, from the Keralan lunch wedding garden party that happened the day after this wedding – which was a smaller and more private celebration for and in honour of the groom’s maternal heritage. A very relaxed affair with a few food sittings and cocktails, to mark the end of a lovely weekend of fun and partying! This family knew how to party, for sure!
We re-used the flowers from the day before and used the same AV supplier for the music (and the same planner!), but everything else was a whole new plan and event design – mostly executed by the MOG, with a little help from me in the lead up and on the day.
Guests were greeted with Mojitos and Bloody Marys, and then we rotated sittings down the garden for the feasting lunch. The waiters came round and set each table for each new sitting with a banana leaf at each place setting, and then came round separately again serving each Keralan dish. It had a very informal family style sharing vibe, which made for the most lovely, fun, and chatty atmosphere. It was early September, so we had some heaters ready, but thankfully the weather held out for this wonderful wedding garden party, as the couple’s Sunday after party.
