A relaxed but so glam Stoke Newington wedding, starting at Stoke Newington Town Hall, and finishing at the West Reservoir Centre, with pizza and singing waiters!
This was another postponement which thankfully was able to take place in Aug 2021, when weddings were just allowed again post covid… as I continue my mass catch up of showing you all my past weddings that never quite made it on to the blog!
The bride and groom looked like Hollywood A-list, but their day couldn’t have been more relaxed. Starting at the infamous and iconic Rose & Crown pub, then across the road to Stoke Newington Town Hall for a slightly more intimate ceremony than planned thanks to extended covid regulations, then back to the pub, before heading up to the West Reservoir Centre for a pizza party with singing waiters and a dance off!
I love working at the West Reservoir Centre (I’m a preferred supplier there), but the timings mean you have to be meticulous about your planning from the get-go. As it’s open to the public during the day, set up time is minimal, and access for guest entry is only really from 5.30/6pm ish, thus it suits a more relaxed vibe for food or just an evening party. So Sarah and Steve did just that. It was about them, and celebrating. Singing waiters were added to the mix late on and were such a fun surprise for guests! Although it’s worth noting the venue have a sound limiter. However it’s the perfect reception venue if you are having a Stoke Newington wedding!
