A South London wedding at Beckenham Place Mansion with homegrown flowers, pizza, and a 6m grazing table!
Hollie and Christopher knew they wanted a relaxed vibe for their day, opting for somewhere local-ish to them in South London, a pizza lunch, and providing a beer keg. Together for years and going through some house renovations in the process, it was important that they sealed their vows but a big fancy affair was not their vibe. Effortless cool and sustainability, was. They were keen to use local suppliers where possible, so got some booze from their local independent booze shop, and kept things local with suppliers for their almost entirely South London wedding – in fact, I was probably the only anomaly coming from North East London…! (I took public transport though don’t worry!)
An amazing hanging flower installation by the florist welcomed guests, and then ceremony flowers were home grown by the Mother of the Bride (I know!) and were reset and repurposed for lunch. With a cake and treats table made by the Mother of the Groom. Simplicity and style were key to the rest of the aesthetics, then there was a live band for the party complemented by a 6 ft grazing table for evening food..! It looked awesome! And what better setting than this little oasis in bustling South London, for this stylish South London wedding.
