A dry hire London warehouse wedding with a piñata, pizzas and crazy golf, at Trinity Buoy Wharf, London.
Natasha and Jack contacted me very early on in their planning. Natasha was very good at organising and knew exactly what she wanted!
The couple both put a lot of work, (in their own way), into their wedding, and I think it shows. Knowing is was a London warehouse wedding, Natasha was a dab hand at planning, and Jack was very hands on. Jack made the bar by hand and arrived with a whole host of groomsmen in the morning to unload their van and help set up. And Natasha did everything else! Including nailing the soft décor, making a massive piñata (they had this instead of a wedding cake), making and ordering all the little items for the table settings, ordering all the furniture, crockery, table ware and bar ware, and planning all of the logistics.
Despite the heat wave this summer, it was a very ‘London’ day – a bit grey, but humid, with a bit of wind and some unpredictable spots of rain. The ceremony was set up inside with the dining tables just to one side behind a curtain, ready for the changeover. Natasha arrived driven in the cutest little Mini, and walked towards the view down the aisle where they said their vows in front of the stunning east London docklands skyline.
After the ceremony, the couple walked straight outside for a confetti exit, and straight into their champagne reception. While guests were outside at the drinks reception, playing crazy golf (made by the FOG) and getting photos, Devine Bride was coordinating the room turnaround for the wedding breakfast.
The evening was filled with lots of champers (jeroboams to be exact!), sweets from the piñata smashing, and lots of pizza! The couple had pizza delivered and also served mini ice creams as a late night treat, and both went down a storm!
Team Devine Bride was at the venue all day on the wedding day, from early on directing suppliers and accepting deliveries, then arranging all the furniture, set up, and décor for guests arriving. Then from the ceremony onwards we were managing and directing the day, suppliers, and the guests. Devine Bride also came back later in the evening to manage take down from midnight until 4am, the last exit for hires at Trinity Buoy Wharf. It was a most elegant but very fun London warehouse wedding.

“Our wedding day wouldn’t have been possible without Laura!
Laura was great from the moment we booked her, although we only booked her for on the day coordination, prior to the day itself she met with me and my caterer and then met me again at the venue so that we could run through all of the details and logistics. She was very organised and proactive in the run up to the day – we worked together to produce a briefing document which Laura then emailed to all of our suppliers well in advance so that everyone was on the same page.
We got married at Trinity Buoy Wharf in East London. It’s a dry hire venue which requires a lot of hard work! We had a complicated brief with many suppliers and also a LOT of our own decorative DIY items (including our own bar and mini golf!). Laura liaised with all our suppliers for both set up and take down and dealt with the set-up of all of our DIY details (including all of the table décor, multiple signs and easels, guest book table, mini golf etc. etc!).
I’d like to massively thank Laura and her assistant for all of their hard work on the day. Laura must have worked a 20 hour day and went above and beyond to make sure that the day ran smoothly and how we wanted it to, including doing a lot of the heavy lifting during clear down when a member of the waiting staff didn’t turn up!!
All of our guests have said how great the venue and set up was and particularly how the day was so personal and reflective of us as a couple. We are both so pleased that you managed to bring it all together as I know it was a complicated brief with a lot of suppliers plus all of our DIY elements and my overly detailed nature! I am an absolute control and details freak so I can only imagine what a nightmare Bridezilla I was to work with – so thanks for putting up with me Laura!”
