Ruth + Emmanuel were married at Carlowrie Castle near Edinburgh on a sunny Scottish summers day. The castle is grand yet intimate, and it was the most stunning setting for the couples three-day wedding celebration.
Having both their ceremony and reception in the same venue meant the couple could have a leisurely breakfast in the morning on site, before all the final prep got underway.
Devine Bride were hired to do the venue dressing, styling, ceremony set up, wedding breakfast set up, and reception set up. We arrived with our tool kit and spent all morning setting up in The Orangery, however as the weather held out we moved the ceremony set up outside at the last minute to make the couple’s dreams come true. The weather turned out wonderfully, and meant they had the most amazing backdrop to their ceremony (the castle it’self!), and also meaning that the venue could get to work on setting up The Orangery for the wedding breakfast.
This venue is a great option if you are looking for a stunning castle wedding which is easily accessible for guests, with it being so close to Edinburgh and Edinburgh airport – I adored the setting at this Carlowrie Castle wedding.
