We had very particular ideas when organising our wedding (250 guests, dry hire venue, Greek BBQ, mobile bar, furniture hire, tropical plants instead of flowers, a DJ, an acoustic band, a piano man etc etc etc) and to compound the logistical quagmire further, the venue needed to be completely cleared within an hour of the guests leaving.
At our initial meeting, Laura listened attentively, provided encouragement, ideas and recommendations as necessary. We walked away from that meeting comforted and sure that we had found the right person for the job. As the months went by, we continued to use Laura as a sounding board for new ideas and solutions for challenges. She really knows what she is doing and made us constantly feel at ease and reassured.
The day before the wedding (at very short notice), Laura masterfully co-ordinated with all our suppliers and also helped a small team of friends and family decorate the venue. On the day, Laura was completely in charge of the show, she liaised with all the suppliers, co-ordinated separate interviews with the registrars (so bride/groom didn’t see each other before the ceremony), kept everything running to schedule and even guided us through the happy chaos of the evening. She made sure we had fun – had some food and always had a full glass of champagne and sensing our nervousness, she gave us both a small pep talk before our speeches. Multitasking talented Laura also set up our cheese table beautifully!
We felt hugely supported by Laura who was able to communicate our ideas very clearly to execute our vision. The wedding was a smoothly run success. We have a million happy memories of the day. Thank you again.

I knew I wanted to do most of the planning for our wedding myself but as we got further and further into the process I realised that I couldn’t do it all and be a bride who enjoyed her day. We asked Laura to work with us as our on the day coordinator. From the moment I had my first call with Laura I felt more at ease and confident in the planning process. From saying just a few words she knew exactly what we were looking to achieve on our day and was able to advise us on how we could do this.
As we got nearer to the day Laura became more and more invaluable. We were doing things a little differently and getting married in Australia 2 weeks before our wedding in London, Laura completely got this and stepped up so that as we flew out to the other side of the world we could relax knowing that she would be the perfect point of contact for all our suppliers as the big day got nearer. She put together a Wedding Day Brief that got everyone singing from the same hymn sheet and tirelessly chased up the pesky supplier who’s contact wasn’t so reliable!
Then it was time for the big day, Laura arrived at the venue and did all the set up, making the venue look absolutely stunning and turning the pub courtyard into our beautiful magic wedding chapel! She had everyone under control, even the groomsmen! After the ceremony, I swear it was as if she multiplied, she was everywhere. Seemlessly organising a perfect exit from the ceremony through a bubble walk, ensuring that all the wedding party had drinks before the photos started. She effortlessly took care of the guests inside enjoying drinking whilst also nudging me to hold my shoulders back so I looked better for the photos! She was magic!
Throughout the whole day she would appear and whisper in mine and my husband’s ear “we’re going to do this part in about 5 minutes” so that I could finish a conversation or my drink and get to the right place on time. Your wedding day is hectic and there is so much going on that you have to be involved in but it’s hard to focus when all your favourite people are in one place. Laura made it so that we didn’t have to focus, she enabled us to just enjoy it. I was a guest at my own wedding and it was 100% because of Laura!

Anna, Dulwich “We hired Laura when we realised the wedding we’d envisaged would be slightly more complicated than anticipated – suddenly we were looking at an external caterer, a separate supplier for the drinks reception and two separate venues with fiddly decorations that could only go up on the day (among other things).
From our first (Skype) conversation, Laura was incredibly helpful, pointing out things we hadn’t even thought about and helping us with much needed deco inspiration for venue 1. In the run-up to our wedding, she pulled together an amazing schedule and sent it to all suppliers, which meant everyone knew where they had to be when. We hired Laura for on the day co-ord for our wedding this July and it was one of the best decisions we made. Our wedding was at a venue which often does weddings so I wasn’t sure if we needed someone else there on the day, but I knew I would feel better knowing someone was there making sure everything was going smoothly and dealing with any issues that came up and Laura did exactly that!
She was a great calming influence in the run-up to the day by confirming with all our suppliers and being on hand to offer advice or answer any questions I had. She came with us to the venue the day before, attended our rehearsal and even checked in with us while we were getting ready in the morning even though we had paid for her time to start later in the day. She masterfully co-ordinated getting all of our guests on and off the buses to transfer them between the reception venue and the church where the ceremony was, which was something I was very worried about before-hand.
Her attention to detail was also incredible… things like adjusting my veil when it went crooked in the group photos, being on hand to make sure my train was perfect before walking down the aisle (as my bridesmaids had already gone ahead of me) and she even matched her dress for the day to our emerald green colour scheme! She also moved around various elements of decor to make sure they were displayed to their full potential, such as our table plan, which no one had seen because it was inside and everyone was outside because it was such a nice day.
Overall, Laura was super lovely to deal with and always made me feel better if I was getting anxious about anything. Knowing she was there taking care of everything meant that I could just enjoy the day and not worry about anything. Our wedding really was our best day ever, and Laura played a huge role in contributing to that by making sure we were happy and relaxed the whole time. Thank you so much, Laura! xx”

Dry hire weddings can be stressful so I’m so glad we made the decision to get her on board with our wedding. Having someone so experienced, organised, and just amazingly good at their job, made our day (and the months leading up) so much easier.
When we booked our dry hire venue (Mile End Ecology Pavilion) I knew I was going to need some help. I had visions of running around on the morning of my wedding like a headless chicken, and I was also worried that I had lots of ideas for decoration but needed someone to make sure that it didn’t look like mish mash of Pinterest ideas.
I had a couple of calls with other planners but they didn’t seem to understand what I wanted (one spoke to me about coloured linen for at least 15 minutes). Then I came across Laura and her pick and mix service. It was so flexible and bespoke that I was able to tell her exactly what I thought I needed a hand with. She was warm, friendly and massively helpful from the get go, so I knew I could trust her with my day.
We worked on my wedding on and off for quite a while and I can’t explain how reassuring it was to have her by my side, giving me guidance and steering me in the right direction. I’m a control freak typically, and have organised work events in the past, so I thought I’d struggle with taking advice from someone else, but I trusted her completely from start to finish. I knew I’d made the right choice when she told me what time sunset would be on our day – she is just so organised!
Then when it came to the set up and on the wedding day… well, words just can’t even describe how much for a star she was. She had an impressive box of tricks, she was an oasis of calm, and she got the job done. When I walked into the venue after my ceremony, I was absolutely over the moon with the finished product. People were amazed by the set up and we had so many compliments on how pretty our decor was, and it was all down to her advice and hard work. Then later in the day, Laura even stepped in to help my catering team as they were short staffed, alongside her other official ‘jobs’ such as coordinating suppliers.
I loved having Laura with us on our day. She was such a big part of our wedding and if I had to do it all again (I hopefully won’t 😂!!) she would be the first person I’d call.”

Our venue required hiring caterers, bar etc all separately and doing all of our set up ourselves. Laura was great from the moment we booked her, although we only booked her for on the day coordination, prior to the day itself she met with me and my caterer and then met me again at the venue so that we could run through all of the details and logistics. She was very organised and proactive in the run up to the day – we worked together to produce a briefing document which Laura then emailed to all of our suppliers well in advance so that everyone was on the same page.
We got married at Trinity Buoy Wharf in East London. It’s a dry hire venue which requires a lot of hard work! We had a complicated brief with many suppliers and also a LOT of our own decorative DIY items (including our own bar and mini golf!). Laura liaised with all our suppliers for both set up and take down and dealt with the set-up of all of our DIY details (including all of the table décor, multiple signs and easels, guest book table, mini golf etc. etc!).
I’d like to massively thank Laura and her assistant for all of their hard work on the day. Laura must have worked a 20 hour day and went above and beyond to make sure that the day ran smoothly and how we wanted it to, including doing a lot of the heavy lifting during clear down when a member of the waiting staff didn’t turn up!!
All of our guests have said how great the venue and set up was and particularly how the day was so personal and reflective of us as a couple. We are both so pleased that you managed to bring it all together as I know it was a complicated brief with a lot of suppliers plus all of our DIY elements and my overly detailed nature! I am an absolute control and details freak so I can only imagine what a nightmare Bridezilla I was to work with – so thanks for putting up with me Laura!”

We haphazardly planned our wedding in just a few months, and soon realised we would need some on-the-day help. Technically this is what we asked Laura to assist with, but in reality she provided so much more than that.
Laura was instrumental in helping us realise our ambitious plans in a difficult, dry hire venue on a tight budget and in a demandingly short timeframe. Even on the first day we met Laura for a chat over breakfast, she gave us loads of brilliant ideas which we incorporated into our day. In the lead up to the wedding, Laura provided fantastic support and produced a detailed plan / timetable for the wedding.
Laura also coordinated the set-up at the venue the day before, and made what could have been a stressful experience run like clockwork. It was such a blessing having someone there who somehow made a few hours of hard work feel like great fun. Laura helped make the jobs we were dreading doing before the wedding (eg ferrying cutlery, plates and chairs to the venue, stringing up fairy lights and organising the caterers and florist) a wonderful experience. She soon felt like one of the family and we really treasure the day as one of the best memories of the wedding run-up.
Laura’s help on the wedding day itself was invaluable. She helped make both Jack and me (and our families and friends) feel so at ease. We didn’t need to think about anything except enjoying ourselves.
We didn’t have any bridesmaids or groomsmen and were really keen that none of our family or the other the guests had any responsibilities other than having fun. So everything fell to Laura, and everything was perfect.
The whole day ran smoothly and precisely to the timetable we had discussed. Even things we had never considered, Laura had thought of and had covered. For example, I’d abandon my bouquet in a corner and then minutes later see it presented beautifully in a vase; it was a weirdly cold day and Laura made sure the guests who were cold had blankets and everything they needed. Laura was so fundamental to the whole process. It’s so difficult to make a wedding relaxed, but it’s precisely what Laura did for us.
